Anyone who has an American Saddlery western saddle?
How's the quality? Are they pieces of crap or are they decent?
Do you have one/how has it been for you? What kind? (barrel, trail, roping, etc)
If you don't have one, can you say anything about the quality of their saddles?

I love it! I've had it for about 4 years now and it's held up great. I took it to a saddle maker a few months ago (it was squeaky and I wanted to make sure the tree was ok). I ride in this saddle every day, clean it maybe 2-3 times a year, and the saddle maker thought it was new (the tree was fine, btw). Obviously it looks used, but it has held up really well. It's very comfortable; the padding in the seat hasn't worn down or become hard at all.
It really is a very good quality saddle. Though, it can be pretty squeaky at times. I just shake some baby powder into it though and it quiets down for a few months. I still love it though.
I'm really surprised more people don't use American Saddlery. In fact, a lot of people haven't even heard of them. But they are great saddles, and at a fair price.
